I didn't spend even 2 seconds looking at the recipes. I read this for the interstitial Little House baloney, because that's how I do. Half Pint addresses crucial questions like why Mrs. Garvey uses a baby to bust through a window during the school fire episode. Little House people, you know exactly what I am talking about. FINALLY the big questions of our time are answered! Seriously, there isn't much here and if you want more dirt, read Melissa Gilbert's autobiography instead.

Recipes are ruff Ree Drummond knock-offs, but the photos from Melissa Gilbert's own personal scrapbook were choice. Fellow Bonnetheads, unless you really love cream (or like MG, hate raisins), this is a library book checkout only.

A fun read for "Little House on the Prairie" fans. I haven't tried any of the recipes, but many look good, and the book is a quick, pleasant read (I got it from the library).

Down home/Southern cooking. Recommended for fans of The Pioneer Woman’s food.
