This book is so funny— mostly because there is truth in the story. I laughed so hard and then made other adults at school read it. Perfect for new parents!

Even though you have to know where this one's going, I got some good laughs at it. It might be a cute thing to give to a child who is about to have a new sibling. I think it's amazing that with three little lines an illustrator can show smugness so well!

Babies take a lot of time and effort. And this book captures that pretty well. And the art is pretty good. But really this isn't the kind of thing I'd want to read over and over again. And other than the idea and the crowd scenes of friends and family visiting King Baby, there really isn't a lot here. Though what there is of it, is good.
