It's been a while, but I've read other MHC books and I thought I enjoyed her writing. Not this one though. It was awful!

There were far too many coincidences & the author kept repeating the facts every so many pages. I don't know if she thinks her readers have short memories or what, but it was a little too much.

The biggest issue for me, though, was the way the TV series was written. I mean, really? A producer wants to recreate a murder scene having the 'suspects' dress in the same gowns they wore 20 years prior? Seems a bit psychologically damaging. What TV executive will ok that? And the other TV stuff was equally unbelievable. If you have any idea how TV works, do not read this book. It will hurt your soul.

I loved it and I could not put it down, I figured that this was going to be a five star book and then the ending.

God really? You had so much potential book and then you spoilt it with the ending! Betsy Powell was killed for a reason but the reason is so typical and so cliche that although the suspect surprised me the reason spoilt everything and therefore this book is only going to be three stars. Disappointing ending.

A good solid book. Nothing spectacular, but better than the last one. Kept my interest and wanted to know how it was going to end.

I never know what to rate these books. The story is so good but I listened to it and I hate the way the people have a full conversation in their heads. I think it would be different if I read it. I do like that I can never figure out who did it. I have my guesses and one is usually right but I am never sure.
