I hated this one ... Atlas was still great and his relationship with Lliy was everything - but man did I hate the way Hoover threw around gen z and Tik Tok because it read like hey I am so hip and young and I know all these things look at me - but at the same time she was still pretty much worshipping Ellen throughout the entire book despite all the garbage that came out about her recently. I did love that Lily finally sat down Ryle and that his sister did it alongside her and that they chose to limit his time with his niece and daughter and that someone has to be always present and that he has to go to anger managment - because I loathed the fact that he attacked her again and she didn't report him again. I also loved the ending - I just ... didn't care for most of the book because it tends to copy and paste a lot of the first book and it repeats a lot of the first story.

More like 3.5, not amazing nor bad. Kept me on my toes, deff was not the direction I thought the book would have gone in

to me this book didn’t feel anything more than good. now i enjoyed the book don’t get me wrong, but there wasn’t anything that made it feel super special or just overall interesting

i felt similar with the first book, so maybe it just has to do with the writing versus anything else

but as a beach read? 100% i would recommend it! it’s quick and easy!!

This was a nice follow up to It ends with Us. I think we all expect a happy ending here and COHO delivered. Ignore all the low star ratings. Most look to be those who haven't actually read the book and just hate COHO and her readers.

Ugh how does she do it? The books are never what I expect, in the best way.

The “it starts with us” connection is just

A sequela que me era tão aguardada, tornou-se numa grande desilusão. Acho que não se perdia se este livro não tivesse sido escrito.. vale pelo final que todos queríamos.
