Some cheesy language and overly simplified neuroscience about the amygdala but genuinely useful and an easy and good read, will be recommending it elsewhere

Surprisingly well structured and helpful. I never expected it, especially that I like to judge books by their covers. At first I thought the language and style would be annoying (kinda "oh so cool and young" vibe) but it didn't distract me and made the content really accessible. Strongly recommend for working on one's boundaries and communication.

This book felt like it was trying too hard to be cool.

Listened on Audible, found it very much like a chat with a very wise person reminding you how important it is to have boundaries and how valuable it is to honor them so that you can show respect to yourself & to others.

Its a great reminder and one I will revise at a later date.

For a book that is supposed to dive deep in to boundaries, it feels very surface level. The section about how to prevent people from stepping over your boundaries had good tips (the BIFF section) but other than that, it felt rushed and surface level.

Very basic introduction to the concepts covered in the book and with that it succeeds! The language used in the book gets a little obnoxious imho but also makes it an easy, kind of fun read.
