This book was absolutely hilarious. There were parts where I was laughing so hard that my husband would look at me like 🤨

I picked this book to fulfill the Q on my A to Z reading challenge and I'm so glad I did. I will definitely be recommending this to others because everyone should laugh this hard at a book. It's good for the soul

Not my favorite Irby collection, but it ends with a series of great essays. I don’t know if it’s the nun porn or the overwhelming too-close-to-home diarrhea stories, but this collection just didn’t capture me like her previous books.

You know what charmed me to pieces? Sam’s take on Sex & The City. I agree with her takes 100% and it that essay was one of my favorite things I read all of 2023. Inspiring a rewatch of the show 😆

I didn't agree with her brand of humor.

This is my first Irby book and I will be back for more! The only thing I disliked is a large essay in the book is dedicated to episode by episode reimaginings of Sex and the City which I have never seen so I had to trust through and/or skip. So funny, definitely a great palete cleanser.

As a diehard fan of Sam Irby, I'll happily read anything she's written. For me, this didn't feel like her best work, but I still enjoyed it.
