Really wish Beller delved into Salinger's relationship with the Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Center of NY (instead of saying he hates that one of his favorite authors strode down the perhaps shakey path of religion/mysticism...ugh)...would have been REAL helpful :/

An illuminating , personal, investigative work by Beller.An Informative and highly entertaining search for Sallinger clues that accomplishes its goal. Not only does Beller connect warmly with the reader but he ends up, finally, taking care of Holden for us. Well done.
