I really enjoyed this edition in the series. The follow up of the Quahay adventure was fabulous.

This one took me a bit longer than I expected it to, but it is definitely one of my favorites by far! I love that for once we actually got a specific set of POVs and that we didn’t get a million different things going on. I feel for Quinn, but I see this as a huge development for him. He now no longer has any remembrance of his life and his family, but I am also glad that we see how much Lucas had changed and how much is put on Lassiter. I cannot wait to read his book when it’s ready. I also loved that we saw more of Z and how things have changed for him. I just wish we could have read more about his development from the broken slave to the soldier who has learned it’s okay to be there for others and to take care of his own health.

Bittersweet

This was kind of a feel-good book but had some sad occurrences too.

I'm not a real fan of the revisiting of the couples but I read them because it's part of the series. Most of the time, a new romance is also introduced.

I'm hoping to see more of the Prison Camp and the Wolven in upcoming books.
