i’ve followed anna for a while now. and she’s always been such an inspiration, i love how she has streamlined her lifestyle and this book just makes me want to organize all the things. the book kind of reminded me of a less intense marie kondo that was a literal more relatable stretching to topics farther than just strictly cleaning, and also encourages you to find what works best for you. i’m off to clean - bye ;)

Really helpful book… most of which is common sense but still very useful and informative. The section about finance and budgeting was most helpful to me.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy watching the Anna Edit on YouTube. She’s a fun personality and has some great ideas. But for a book on an edited life, the ideas and wording needed to be edited down more (I eventually skimmed most of it). The tone could be a bit informal with too many references to pop culture. The font colors could be difficult to read. Also (this is an English teacher thing), I felt that she might have referred to some others’ ideas in her book but didn’t seem to give credit in terms of footnotes/a bibliography; it’s so important to give credit where credit is due.

This is a fantastic over view of how to just get your life in order in a short and sweet, simple manner using things you probably already have. I love The Anna Edit YouTube channel so it was great to read this and support more of her work. Turns out we have similar minds, (I am also a Virgo).
