Oh this was such a treat! This is my favorite children’s movie and I can’t believe I just read it for the first time! The drawings were wonderfully creepy and the story was the same...except the ending. The story ended too quickly in my opinion and this is where I prefer the movie adaptation of the ending better (maybe because that’s what I’m used to?) I’m also used to Santa kinda being a little meaner in the movie. But it highly enjoyed reading this book out loud to myself AND my four-legged furry child 😁

Quick easy read yet still held the style of the movie. The drawing were executed well. In fact I would have given this 5 stars if it were not for the fact that Sally and Mr Boogie were not in the book.

ok like I realise this is a Halloween/Christmas book and it's August but I do what I want

I liked that this was different from the movie because I got something a bit different than I went into the book expecting, but still with Jack and Zero so I was happy, and it was just a super cute super quick read
