Insta love. I'm not quite sure what to say about it. It's totally unrealistic, but it didn't make the book any less great for me. This is a novel. It can be unrealistic in my eyes. Loved loved loved Layton! And Whitley with her attitude!

1st of all, people don't actually speak the way they do in this book.

2nd of all, I have a really hard time believing that a girl coming from a relationship like Whitley was would fall for this guy AND be telling him that she loves him within a week and a half. It was too unbelievable and at the same time the plot line was all too predictable.

Definitely wouldn't recommend this one to anyone.

After reading a blurb, i thought this book is going to be promising good. But then i am disappointed.

The whole story is promising. But it needs a good editor especially on wording. The wording is repeating and becomes very boring. And i also have problem connecting with Layton. He cries a lot. And again how many times a guy can feel his heart being broken? Everytime he sees a women cries, his heart broke. It makes me rolled my eyes.

However for some reason i still managed to get this book done. My interest is peaked for Reed and Courtney on next book.

**SPOILERS**

This book didn't start off that bad, you have a girl who follows her high school sweetheart into New York City but he's controlling and almost beats her to death. Then you have Layton who is madly in love with a bitch who walked away from him the day after his brother dies. So as you can see right from the beginning I'm hooked and my heartstrings are being pulled.
So the author had to ruin it by having them fall in love in literally one week when you have this girl who ran away from her abusive boyfriend 2weeks ago promises to NEVER trust a man and a guy who's still so heart broken then he'll never give his heart away again. I hate this in books but I usually let it pass but with this book it's impossible and extremity ridiculous when LITERALLY from The beginning of the book till 45% Layton is obsessed with his ex keeps thinking of her has cried twice then at 48% both the main charters are expressing how they love eachother and they're each others soul mates ...REALLY!?!?! No thanks stopping at 55%

Well, there's a day of my life I will never get back...

Read this for a book club as a break from the long Russian novels I normally read in my free time. The thing is I will not lie and say I've never read trashy romance, cause I have and I've enjoyed it! There is actually well written stuff out there with great characterizations. This is not that kind of romance though.

Clearly from the average reviews most people like this, and good for them. I didn't, but I took the effort to actually finish it so I am counting it towards by 2014 reading goal... for better or worse.

This book really didn't do anything for me. The characters were way too sugary sweet, though it does have potential as a great drinking game - every time someone winks, take a shot!

Amazing

I've had this book sitting on my shelf for about six months and now regret not picking it up sooner. This is the first book I've read of Kelly's and will definitely not be the last. Absolutely amazing!!! This book had a little bit of everything from the drama to the spicy scenes and even left me a little worried at times what was going to happen. Can't wait to read more by this fabulous author.

Layton and Whitley's story. Loved how they fall for each other. How their paths lead to where they are currently.

Wow

Kelly Elliot, your book had given me a hangover.
For one Layton is exactly the man I dream about. He is strong, caring, broken but still the alpha.
Whitley was felt a bad hand with her first love. Roger was a dick. Excuse my language. But she never let that get her down our afraid to finally open her heart with the help of her amazing best friend of coarse.
Broken will rip your heart out with each passing chapter and memory. I mean the opening scene is harsh. But she slowly puts the pieces back together and you feel as if your healing with the characters themselves. :) enjoy
