A hilarious examination of what a princess is and what a princess can be. The expressions in this comic are great, and because it's not as well known as many of the other comics it's a great one to recommend to kids looking for new comics.

SUPER CUTE. I loved all the different kingdoms and that Max really wants to be a detective. It's a very gentle read, and would be perfect to introduce a kid to graphic novels.

This is an absolutely adorable comic, if you like Kate Beaton's Princess and The Pony you'll love this. The art and coloring are fantastic, the book feels so alive and animated.

So much fun! Loved the characters, and the art, and the story throws princess tropes out the window. Looking forward to more of this story.

I think this was really sweet. Was a bit surprised that princess powers essentially boiled down to the physical characteristics of the princess in question rather than the princess' nerve etc. Enjoyed seeing a mixed race family as royalty, and a latinx? (Hard to tell in a children's comic) Child get to use her hair as a super power. Justine the "jerk pony" was my fave.

Hella cute. For the rather young readers. A nice spin on the classic princess tropes.

I loved this. I initially picked this up for fun, as I really enjoyed Kelly Thompson's work at Marvel. It was even better than I expected. Maxine is a delightful, determined (stubborn) young girl, who wants to be a detective instead of a princess.
