I received this book in exchange of an honest review.
BeSwitched was a quick and fun read. Though I felt it was very childish and some part were laid back and others rushed, the ideas were nice and the relations were believable.
A refreshing read but I just wish that there could have been more depth with the characters and their lives.
In the end, I would recommend this book to those who just want a quick cute read.

very young on the young adult. A little too much so near the end. Was a cute story in all

Ultimately, I would give this novel 1.5 stars, and I feel that even that rating is generous. The concept was intriguing, and I think that's way I kept reading, to see where the story would go. But the writing was so poor, the dialogue was absolutely awful, and the characters lacked depth and were hardly developed; I almost stopped reading a couple of times, and I'm a person who finishes books 99% of the time, even if I don't like them.

I thought this book seemed cute, and it was. But the writing style is reminiscent of a teen reading their book report - it is very cut and dry, which makes for a boring read. It also has a lot of trite teen high school stereotypes that really made me say - "Does anyone actually act like this anymore - why are they written like h this?" It seemed like a lot of fanfic wish-fulfillment. I think it has potential, but the style and characters could stand to be fleshed out more. With the book being a short read, it's hard to really fall in love with the characters. That being said, I wouldn't be opposed to checking out the second book, but I'm going to work through my stack of 'to read' before I try the second book.

Entertaining enough
This book is entertaining enough. Nothing special, a few mistakes that the editor missed (ie referring to two days as two weeks which was a little confusing).

I found this book a really quick, fairly fast paced book to read, well, I read it all in one go!
The impression I got was that this was YA aimed, what I would say is that it is fairly "young" YA aimed.
The plot is quite funny and humorous, yet covers some quite serious subjects. For example bullying, the whole not being pushed by peer pressure to go further down the "having sex" route. Also being careful about whom you put your trust in. The issues are covered in a light hearted yet responsible way.
I did enjoy the book though in one part, where the "fight" scene between the witches and demons takes part I felt was a little rushed and could have been taken a little slower with more description too.
I would perhaps describe this as "Mary Janice Davidson For Young Teens"
Love the cartoonish cover!
So did I enjoy this book? Yes. Would I recommend it?To the younger end of the YA market.
Would I read more of the series? I think so, yes as this was a great quick read for me.

This was actually a fun read. It's all about Surla, a witches cat, who runs away and ends up switching bodies with Cathy, a shy teenager. Surla helps Cathy gain more confidence and develop friendships. There are talking cats, magic, evil witches, goodish witches, and annoying high school students.
The characters were cute and I enjoyed reading their story. It was fun to see them all grow. Not a great book, but fun.

it was entertaining fluff, but I don't think I can make much more of it than that. well written, yes, but I feel like it could be so much more.

Story idea was cute, but the writing was so confusing and all over the place, very scattered. It read like a fanfic that hadn't been polished. I did like the characters and wish more had been done with their stories to make it easier to follow. 1.5 stars.
