This book was even better than the first and I loved it from start to finish. The ending was really something else though, I never experienced this much pain and betrayal over a book ending. Never saw it coming but it was amazing!!

The ending . . . it distroyed my mind, heart and lungs. I hadn't expect that to happen. The plot and the scheming; almost like playing chess with more expierenced players who know the moves before you can think it.

Jude still likable.
Taryn still don't like her. (Don't think I ever will, to be honest.)
Locke - I want to stab so badly.
Cardan is still dark and broken.

I love the tension between Cardan and Jude. Well paced and the way they actually want to out smart each other. . . enemies to lovers - makes my heart so warm.

I can't wait to see what unfolds in the Queen of nothing.

More intrigues, more scheming and even more betrayal and deceit.

Jude and I will never be friends, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate her. Girl really needs five minutes to catch her breath, she hasn't had a moment rest ever since what happened in book 1. Loved seeing her grow chapter by chapter, she's actively finding her place in politics and she has such a bright mind, definitely underestimated by all.

Loved Cardan and his antics, he reminds me a lot of my husband : a big child, life of the party and class clown to all, but underneath is a clever and witty person. You just have to look beneath the layers. I'm curious as to how his story will continue in the third book.

3 stars because tbh by the end I kind of had enough of all the betrayal and deceit. It's fun at first when it seems like you really can't trust anyone, but Jude needs a friend. A real one.

This book was so cool!!

I loved it. There’s so much twists and turns. The deceptions and betrayals. The strength and the power. It was so fast paced. It was amazing!! So atmospheric.

Ok so we start off with carden being king. I loved carden as usual. Everything about him was amazing. It was sad to read about his childhood though. But now I understand why he is the way he is. Striving to please his parents all his life amd they only react when he does something bad

AHHHH THIS WAS SO GOOD!!! the cardan/jude interactions were perfect and not overdone and i love that they still don’t trust eachother and that they continue to double cross eachother. i feel strongly that a happily ever after relationship would have ruined this book for me and i feel like this series could definitely end with either jude or cardan killing the other. i loved the pacing and the fact that the world building continued throughout this book in a way that didn’t feel forced. soooo excited for the queen of nothing.
