I'm disappointed with this one. Too much time was spent on Maurin's relationship and not enough time spent on the case. In addition the ending was abrupt and choppy. After the previous books in this series, this one is a let down. It's still worth reading but it won't be as enjoyable and it doesn't leave you jonesing for the next one.
