This book is a lot. It's dense but engaging and it covers a wide range of characters, issues, themes, etc. Honestly, I think a fair amount of it probably went over my head. I enjoyed it, but I'm not sure I'd know how to talk about it if I was try to recommend or explain it to someone. Don't dive in expecting an easy read - prepare to be committed to the book for hours on end.
