I did not enjoy all of this one as much as the others and not due to the alpha male/s involved but because of the girl. I did like the ending and I am sure we will see this couple in passing in another book!

I was in the mood for something delightfully spicy and this definitely fit the bill. Kata and Hunter were absolutely electric and I was immediately hooked into their story. I would have loved to see more of Kata's transition into her role as a submissive and I felt that that overall was a little rushed towards the end. I loved seeing all the other characters and it's cool to kind of figure out who's love story is going to happen next. This was not plot heavy by any means, but there was someone after the heroine which gave a touch of edge and mystery. The spice was spicy though and I had a good time reading this installment.

All I can say is OMG I loved it. Hunter is a very Dominant Dom. This is now my favorite in the Wicked series

3 Stars.

First take in to account that this is the first book I have read in the Wicked Series. While its not my favorite book I have ever read it was still a good read. A little much for me at times but still alright.

Ahh Hunter and Kata.
Finally a book I didn’t hate. LOL ok Hate is a strong word. There were parts I still didn’t like. Like the indecision on Kata’s part it drove me batty. I want him, I don’t want him, I want him, no, no I can’t. She is a strong female yes but her waffling made it hard for me to like her.

Hunter ok he could have done a little more after care but he knew what he wanted and he was a bull in a china shop. Which makes him a good Dom and a good man. He wanted to protect and that is exactly what he did.

The narration was much better in this one.

Throughout the story, though I liked Hunter as a Dom, I felt that he was a bit too pushy. Like I get you are dominant and you know what you are doing, but listen to Kata when she speaks. I felt that though Kata was strong, she was also kinda annoying because she would't tell Hunter why she didn't want his dom-ness. I felt that she had a valid reason to be scared but she just pushed him away without explaining. Both of them would have benefitted from some communication. I liked this book ok, but it took me forever to finish because school got in the way. When they revealed who was the person who hired the hit, it was a surprise but it wasn't that interesting. I also felt that the book was kinda repetitive with Kata refusing Hunter.

At the point where he tells her to say "Yes Sir". Are you fucking kidding me? When someone tells you and you badger them until they change their mind, isn't that brainwashing? The D/s is way too strong for me in this story. I'm almost 5 hours into the 13hr and am giving up. Sorry.
