I was afraid of being disappointed with this book because it's a slower story than A Million Little Pieces but halfway through, I was just as happy with it, if not more. James' journey is a beautiful, honest and simple story. This is one of the only 2 books that I can remember leaving me in tears.

I'm not sure it lived up to A Million Little Pieces but it was so nice to find it and realise I could keep reading the story. Still great.

To be honest, I read this book many, many years ago. I don't remember many details about it, but I do remember enjoying. I didn't like it as much as A Million Little Pieces (I was merely a kid when his original Oprah scandal broke, so that didn't change my opinion).

Literally the book that got me into reading. Honestly probably one of my favourite books ever definitely gonna re-read it someday. I went through every emotion I swear

Again, just like A Million Little Pieces, if you can handle and/or like up close and personal looks at the uncomfortable realities of life, this book is amazing as well; just like Frey's first book.

loved his first book, loathe his second. put the book down a while ago, don't think i'm picking it back up. his writing style in this one makes me want a drink.
