The Black Dagger Brotherhood: An Insider’s Guide by J.R. Ward:

What a very clever Insider’s Guide this was. It was not simply a compendium of facts but she cleverly put it together with interviews of the characters. I have found myself feeling like I was reading a magazine instead of a reference guide. It was highly entertaining and I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of this series!

Ahahah! This crap was hilarious! :D

They did exactly what I thought they would do in their free time.

I love the Brothers so much, therefore I am always happy to know more about them. :)

This Guide was AWESOME!
I found out so many things I didn't know and had the confirmation to other things I suspected. Gosh, the emotion! ;)

There is one thing I am hell of curious, though, and we don't have a straight answer for that in the Guide.
The WARDen says she and Vishous don't have an easy relationship and that Vishous hates her and she knows why.
I wonder about that. Why is that that Vishous hates her?
Could it be because the WARDen gave him his past and it was a terrible one, full of violence and loneliness and despair? Or because she loves Butch so much and Vishous is very territorial? Or because he knows that she knows something he doesn't (Payne)?
I sooooo want to know!

The short novella about Zsadist & Bella adjusting to life after the birth of their daughter Nalla, makes this book more then worth reading. It was absolutely beautifully done.

The rest of the book is excellent as well, and is a must for any BDB fan.

I would have bought this if only to read the awesome extra scenes with the wedding of Cormia and Phury (so romantic and tender!) and also the epilogue to their story five years later where they are babysitting Nalla for Z and Bella, and we see our first look at their son Aggie. It also includes a short about Z and Bella and Nalla from her first few months, although that can be purchased separately.

Brilliantly funny insiders guide.

I think I love JR Ward and this series so much because she just makes it into a world, much like HP. It's like the characters write the books not her. They do what they want and this book shows them outside their normal settings.

It's hilarious, like everything she writes, yet the interview with Thor broke my heart!

This Insider's Guide to BDB is completely packed! The highlight for me was definitely the short story "Father Mine" about Zsadist. I absolutely loved it! This is a great addition to the library of any BDB fan. I know I'll go back and read bit and pieces here and there as the series continues. It's a very fun collection :)

This was fascinating asf. How the author sees all her characters as real life people — I love it.
