Okay so this is the one that's made me certain I'm neck deep in a book slump. Usually I'd love everything about this.
I was already massively in love with Luke (before reading this he was my favourite of the hot bunch), the childhood friends thing always gets me, the reactions to the shit that went down I'd have normally swallowed whole and Kristen Ashley's writing never ever ever EVER fails to make me love everything about her books.
I just didn't feel that invested in it. I never had the massive rush of feelings I'd expect from the hot bunch, I didn't want to start re-reading as soon as I'd finished like I usually expect from KA books.
I read this now because I haven't felt as though I've fallen madly in love with a book in a while (and I'm used to this happening quite often). So I decided to go down the tried and true route of my favourite ever author, who never fails to make me love her heroes and want to be her heroines. But it just didn't work. Now I know this could be just the one KA book I don't love completely (ha! yeah right...) but I really don't think it is.
So. I'm gonna come back and read this in a couple of months when it's less fresh in my mind and when I'm 100% certain this book slump's fucked off out of my life.

Definitely not my favorite Rock Chick book, and it was all because of Ava. She was bee-otchy, lied constantly, and was a hypocrite when it came to Luke and Jules and Roxie, and her and Ren.
And I don't like mustaches. Only Tack can get away with a mustache.
My final gripe is that all the Rock Chicks dress like they're about 40. And what's with all the perfume in every single book? Not everyone wears perfume. Especially young women of the age of the Rock Chicks.

Loved this!
I love Ava’s Good Ava and Bad Ava advice. Too funny.
Luke is seriously hot.
Am I the only one who sees the resemblance with Ranger (Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series)... babe, black and Porsche!
Favourite couple yet!

Sweet lord. Does Luke have a mouth on him... He had me swooning. This series keeps getting better and better. The crazy antics of the rock chicks is truly some of the best stuff out there. Even though all the men are OTT they still have their hands full reigning in these ladies.

"You're like a flower that grew through a crack in the sidewalk."
To say I'm obsessed with this series is an understatement. I loved Luke and Ava. How can you not fall for a guy that calls his lady, "Beautiful"? Shirleen is quickly becoming one of my favorite supporting characters; her attitude is classic! Reading along, this book was a strong 4 star. The last 100 pages of this book was beyond 5 STARS. I was laughing so hard I nearly fell off the stairclimber at the gym. Rock Chicks+ Smithie in a tree = hilarious.
"It's all right, Mrs. Conrad. We may look crazy but we ain't gonna hurt you." ~ Shirleen
"I always want a kiss before I go to work, Ava"
