Bit childish for my tastes. I just didn't enjoy the MC, but the male is hot. Can't see why the male character would be attracted to her at all though. Made it to 40% and just had to move on.

This was a different read for me. The plot was predictable but was still completely enjoyable to read. The main character is a hoot and just spewed the funniest and dirtiest things. The hotness level was blush inducing. Solid problematic escape read.

Side note: I wouldn’t call this a healthy relationship in anyway. Lies and power situations were cringe. The violence and emotional trauma inflicted were pointless and not worked out. In the end all seemed well but I personally wouldn’t of been able to move past the lies, deceit, uncalled for violence and punishment.

you wouldn’t expect laughs from a prison story but…
This story was so much fun to read. Maybe it’s because of my love of 90s music but this character was a riot. From putting herself in prison to find time to hide out to her sunny disposition to her funny prison side hustles, just such a fun quirky little romance.
