I kind of want to give this 4 stars because it's weird and sort of wise and the first 3/4 is pretty much the funniest novel I've read. But I'm not sure I can see revisiting it or thinking about it in the future, which is usually the distinction between 3 and 4 stars for me. So 3 for now, but I'm open to changing that if I reread it at a later date or find myself giving it way more thought down the road than I expect to.
