I enjoyed the bond that formed between Avery and Elle, but wanted Avery’s character to have started to show more depth earlier on. Overall I liked it but a couple of storylines just fell flat for me.

A beautiful book about grief, healing, processing emotions, love, patience, and forgiveness. I wish 15 year old me could've read this book- she needed it. No matter how old your grief is, it's comforting to see so many excerpts that resonate with your heartbreak.

beautiful story

Not my normal read but this story captured me quickly. The way it is written allowed me to feel so invested in the characters and I was almost in tears of joy at the end seeing how the characters had grown.

cute love little tragedy teen angst

Fun and cute but sometimes I wanted to stop reading because the pacing would get a little slow, especially when dialogue was carrying most of the weight…and also when they got lost in the woods maybe a “mile or so” (took them an hour to hike out…haha) in for one night and it was supposed to be scary and hard and maybe they would freeze to death even though it was June…made me doubt the author knew anything about going outside.
