Get ready...... Lady Megan Linton, a Viscountess, has to become a maid for six months in order to earn her eccentric grandfather's estate. Raised by this unusual man after her parents died, she has been educated in numerous activities that the average woman of this time has not been. It shows.

Get set...... She is settled on Justin's home and lands because he is suppose to be safe and honorable. The gist of the story is Megan aka Meggie and The Earl of Argyle butting heads. There are a few unlikeable moments with some mild physical altercations but the humor will attract many of you. Just suspend what you know about Regency times and go with the flow.

Go! This is the first published book by Cindy Holbrook. Initially issued in 1989, it has some rough-around-the-edges moments. Fortunately, I am intrigued enough to read more from this author.
