We are introduced to the Tarotland in this wonderful tale. Harold, who just lost his mother, goes on a journey to rid his family of their curse but ends up going on a totally different path due to circumstances unknown to him. He is thrown into a land with magical boundaries and must come to terms with his own abilities and find his inner strength to survive. Killian has taken the tarot card scheme and has develop a world I have never read about before. She has woven great characters together to build a world that sounds unique while also being disturbing. We see myths and legends bound together in a spinning tale and I absolutely am loving this series.

Very entertaining and well written. It is fun to learn more about Norse Mythology from a different perspective. I loved the characters and can't wait to join them on their next journey.
