- Cassandra my beloved
- Less threads to follow than batman eternal, which makes it much easier to follow. It also feels more like coordinated teamwork and less like random bats bumping into each other as needed.
- Strong Jason and Tim interaction without throwing either of them under the bus. And bonus points for having Jay hack and Tim fight for a change!
- Dick doesn't always come across well though, and Steph just sort of disappeared after the first few issues

The plot is weaker than Batman: Eternal but I'm here for seeing the Batfam interact and it continues to be excellent at that.

Fun fact! If you want me to think your fave is the coolest, don't put them on a pedestal made from the mangled body of another character who did nothing to deserve that treatment!
Batman and Robin Eternal manages to make me hate literally every single Batfamily character except one. (Yeah even Damian here grates on my nerves, DC just can't wait to make a poc Muslim child a full scale villain huh?) Perfectly portrays the problem with almost every fan of Tim and/or Jason, somehow they think making those characters be obnoxious bullies to their supposed family is going help prove their worth as Robin or whatever. The logic fails me, this is pure fanservice to some of the most unsavory sides of the fandom.
DC writers don't know what dysfunctional family means anymore. If I start listing the problems of this book I'll be here for a year. It's a convoluted mess.
I do not look forward to Robin team ups anymore. It's turned into a "Let's make the original Robin our piñata party, what do you mean we don't love him he's the most beloved character!" None of you are subtle about your hatred for Dick. So I don't have to subtle about my hatred for your bullshit. Just write your Tim-Jason team up and go. It's like DC's exacting revenge for not letting them kill Dick off. You know what? Just do that. You're not doing anything good with the character anyway. New DC fans don't need to even know who he is just go all the way and make Jason the first Robin! Hell! Give him all of Dick's okay-to-use backstory, and transfer his to Damian who's also so much of a trouble to write! Don't have to deal with any of the problems Dick brings to the table for y'all. Dick's fanbases can keep themselves entertained with the old books and the new readers can easily be brainwashed into forgetting him!
The story itself gets that 0.75. The story to me is like an old expired band-aid for the mangled body, useless.
These are celebrated authors. There really is no hope for DC.

Okay that ending is UNFAIR. I was back and forth on this characterization of Dick, I hate what he did to Tim. Dick being my favorite, I feel iffy on this. I loved Jason here though. And CASS she’s brilliant here, honestly. I’m unsure about where this fits in the the timeline, since it’s post Grayson but no Damian? Is he dead?
