The author shouldn't take on this character unless theyre living as a POC in a dystopian theocracy after a nuclear holocaust... I think this is a lot of SJWs first fiction book, and I think that's great, but maybe they can try not to be so triggered over absolutely everything all the time. It's honestly exhausting.

Anyway, it's an OK book.

Struck me as a cishet man’s r-word fantasy. Characters are flat, very little growth or change. Writes sibling dialogue like an only child.

This book was very well done debut effort by Kluwe.

The video game parts were deep enough for nerds, but thin enough to not bog down non-gamers. Plenty of fun easter eggs, but never felt forced.

I felt it was a bit predictable at times, but was still amazingly enjoyable.
