I loved seeing Emma realize she was in love with Mr Knightley because it was so obvious as the reader! And her change and growth was well done and really made the story much more enjoyable she was quite annoying in the beginning honestly but even by the middle she started to grow on me.

To paraphrase a line of dialogue from Emma, "This is a book I cannot presume to praise." Jane Austen's genius. Can words even describe it? Emma is a wealthy young women who tries to order her small provincial world to her liking but can't quite manage it. This is the Jane Austen novel commonly described as Jane Austen's detective story, and you will see why when you read it. A brilliant classic.
