This second installment is adorable, and I enjoyed it even more than the first. There is the perfect balance of banter, chemistry, and emotion. Drew and Maggie have the best slow burn romance. Despite the potential heavy subject matter, I respected the maturity and straightforwardness of both characters.

I can't wait for the third installment of the series.

Nice and cute, but it didn’t grab my attention. I feel almost no inclination to read the other books in this series.

What starts out as a bad date with the wrong man turns into the right "job" with the right one. It's another Spikonos brother, reunited with his siblings after many, many years apart (as explained in book #1 of the series) paired up with best friend of one's wife. (It's all neat & cozy in this small town, so not too many names to remember from one book to another....thankfully!) Drew & Maggie, antagonistic from the start, and lugging baggage from their past spar without gloves, albeit merely verbally. He just left a mistake at the altar and she is still mourning the death of her husband 3 years prior. She has a young son & he has a dysfunctional, but extremely rich, adopted family. And even though it's a pretty good guess how this will end, it was a fun read getting there. A warm & fuzzy read for these cold winter days. Sure brought out the "feel good" for me.
