My wanderlust is strong right now, and this book made me want to get outside. Bonus points for all the WV references, especially starting the year of this journey eating pepperoni rolls.

The ending is kind of drawn out, but overall a really interesting read! Loved learning about all the National Parks.

This was a wonderful narrative of visiting the National Parks! I listened to the author read his book, but might need to check out the actual book before hitting a park so that I can use his information to help plan our trip. ;)

Fascinating! In 2016, Conor Knighton, a contributer to CBS Sunday Morning, came up with a plan to visit each of the U.S. national parks during the parks’ centennial year. Each chapter in the book profiles one or more parks, focusing on a variety of themes—Water, Sound, Mystery, Love, Forgiveness, Canyons, People, Home, etc. I have been to a few of the parks he visited, and it was fun to read about those, but I was actually more interested in the parks I haven’t visited—maybe someday I’ll get to those parks, too. Definitely recommended!
