I don't think I am the target audience for this, but still was able to draw something from Schwartz. I like the idea of speaking for parts, rather than as a whole and do think this could help couples who are struggling. I had a hard time with the individual work he spoke about, trying to "coax" parts out and speaking like they are "basement children". I also found that speaking about just cis (implied white) straight couples was limiting and drew on a lot of societal assumptions about upbringing.
