It's a gritty, dark, unemotional story, carried by the, mostly unlikeable, characters. It was the back story of cops Eden and her brother Eric; the current story of newly transferred Frank partnered with Eden, trying to catch a serial killer.
Eden and Eric come across as creepy. Frank comes across as arrogant and a bit sleezy.
Overall, I enjoyed it and will be reading the next books
