The book teased the mystery in the first chapter, which is what made me keep reading. The main characters were only superficially developed, and not likable. I felt sorry for them, but didn’t like them.
I read this book while camping, if I were home and had other options, I might not have finished.

OH...YAY!!!! I won this book through First Reads!!!! I'm so excited!
I had a tough time getting into this book... or maybe I should say I had a hard time with Laney's story...she was not someone I liked or could identify with. Miss Baby, however, was a different story. I loved her voice and her story. I did enjoy how the stories came together though.
