So cool to hear from various bakers about their experience. It’s clear that it’s really tough physical labor but they do it because they enjoy it. Cool brief history, too, on how baking, particularly cakes and cupcakes, made its way into modern culture. Sex and the City made it happen!
As a hobbyist baker, it’s validating to read my love for baking reflected: its directions and outcome are certain, given you follow it correctly, and it’s meditative. Like how anyone can cook, anyone can be a baker!
