For a board book with so few words, I’m amazed how engaging My Family, Your Family! is. An excellent entry point for introducing toddlers to the diversity of families both near and far.

Limited text, but varied depictions of the types of family structures one may have. Appreciate this for that inclusiveness! Could be a good for a baby shower or pre-k/kinder classroom.

What a wonderful book... a book for everyone! The illustrations are just so beautiful and inclusive. Whether you use this book to jumpstart and reinforce your younger kids' reading skills (very easy phrases and words) or you use this book as a conversation starter, this book is a wonderful addition to any home, school or public library! This book and its spirit is just what this world needs right now!

This simplistic, yet wonderful children's picture book is one that I think absolutely every child should have, and should see.
Not only does it show that there are multiple ways to have a family, but it shows complete diversity, and connectedness through the simple fact that almost all of us have a family.
It shows gay parents, parents that are separated, families that live a distance away. But they're all families, and I think that is absolutely wonderful.

My Family, Your Family is a perfectly sweet exploration of all different types of families. With diverse skin colors and family structures, Cole and Li show just how many ways there are to share family. The illustrations are beautiful and the simple text makes this an easy title to share with little ones.

Thank you to the publisher and netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book. This is the perfect book for all children to read! It is short, sweet and simple as all children's books should be. Most importantly, it teaches them a lesson. The lesson in this one was about all types of families. I will definitely be buying this for everyone with children.
