This was such a fun intro into the world of the Winston brothers! There was romance, laughs, action - everything I love in a book! I’m so excited to read the rest of the series!

Found the story pretty underwhelming and just slow. I wanted to care more but I just couldn't.

I'm going to start off by saying... I loved the concept of the book! But the delivery kinda blowed! I've never read a book with so many unnecessary descriptive words! The storyline was good! It was just tooooo many adjectives and adverbs!
I wanted so badly to like this book! But I honestly could barely finish it!

I couldn't put this down. I loved everyone, and of course I'm very very eager to get to Cletus's story, these have been on my TBR pile for a while now and I first planned on reading all the knitting in the city books first before moving onto this one but as it's being removed from KU I'm now racing against the clock to finish reading them in time because I'm a tightass lol. Thankfully this was super easy to read and really pulled me in. Honestly, I didn't expect biker connections when I first opened this. Lots of shit I didn't expect happened and in the end I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved Duane in this book. My, my, my was he lovely (even if he broke my heart a little towards the end but we good now). He was just so damn into her for so long and it was giving me so many butterflies I don't think I'll ever forget this book and by the looks of it, I'll probably end up loving this whole series because I really do love Reid's writing. It's funny with lots of sweet stuff and all the angst I need. I shall continue this series in the morning because I legit stayed up until 2am reading this on a Monday bloody night and now I'm exhausted but I couldn't wait until tomorrow to finish it lol

Short review!
In this book you are introduced to the Winston brothers. There is 6 brothers and one sister. They are a tight family, who hadn’t have the best childhood. They all have their own quirks and seem to be characters I will be falling in love with in the future. This book is mostly about Duane and Jessica. I love Duane. The first impression of him is so wrong and when you get to meet the real Duane, you fall hard. Jessica is a warm and really likable characters. I often has problems with female characters in this kind of books but not Jessica. She is a grown up, funny, strong woman with enough self perspective to stop her self when she sees she is being ridicules. I LOVE THAT!

Weak tea, though the cover is a nice change of pace.

I did enjoy this sentence, though: "I shook my head, cupped her cheeks between mine..."

Not gonna lie I had no idea what the heck’s going on until the second half of the book. But Duane and Jess were so cute.
