I feel as though I missed most of what was meant to be happening, and I suspect that was how I was meant to feel. It's rarely ever as good to read a play than to listen to it, and I suspect that it doubly true with this one, so perhaps I shouldn't judge based on the text only. My trouble with all plays/books/poems like this is that I end up feeling kind of depressed afterwards. Not sad, like when you've read a sad story, but kind of distanced from everything...

Beautiful in its simplicity. The main thing I learned was that we can't rely on anything greater and thus we only have each other.
