Thanks to Netgalley for an ARC. John Rebus' 22 outing finds him retired and in poor health. Skeletal remains turn out to be related to an old case Rebus worked on--a case that was considered botched. All the old favorite characters make an appearance:Siobhan Clarke, Malcom Fox---even old Gerry Rafferty turns up to taunt Rebus.
This story did not disappoint.

Just like an old friends reunion, its a rebus story all the usual suspects a cold case, a recent case, Big Ger, Shiv Clarke and John Rebus. Say no more a relaxing enjoyable read.

Another good Inspector Rebus tale. He's retired, got a dog and still wants to be a detective.
