I read this book bit by bit over the last 6 months with my daughter. I teared up a number of times reading some of these incredible stories. I cannot wait to start the next one with her.

A book every single girl needs by her bedside. The stories of 100 powerful women that tell you you can, whatever it is you want to do, you can achieve it. I love the diversity in the women's roles and nationalities most of all. From models and fashion designers to biologists and athletes to lawyers and politicians, it seems like no one was left out. The illustrations are very beautiful as well and added a great touch to the stories. It really is a must have!

Piękne ilustracje i interesujące historię napisane w bardzo prosty sposób, przystępny dla każdego. Niektóre kobiety już znałam i o nich czytałam, ale nie odebrało mi to przyjemności z czytania tej książki :)

Read a few different stories each night to my 2 year old.

I am so grateful to have found these books when my little girl was born. I want her to know she can do anything and everything she want. That no patriarchal figure will ever tell her she can because she is a girl.

All little girls need a strong role model. Pick up this book and let them choose one.

I may have to buy this book.

It is 100 stories, alphabetically presented about real women doing amazing things. On the left is the one-page story; on the right, a portrait of the story's subject. Each portrait is also made by different female artists.

If my boys were still little, these would be their bedtime stories as they should be read to boys as well as girls. Men as well as women. Everyone should read these.

This book was wonderfully educational. It had me spending quite a bit of time on Wikipedia looking up the lives of these women!

I am a strong believer that all little girls should have this book on their nightstand, which is why I got it for three of my nieces for presents this year. Molly and I learned about so many courageous girls and women together. Thanks again to the Studers for fulfilling this birthday wish!!

I heard a lot of really good things about this book and was very excited to read it. I guess it is tailored more toward smaller children, because the stories themselves are really simple and sometimes a bit too narrow for my taste. However, it is a really great twist to the classical fairytale and introduces 100 really exciting female biographies, of which the majority was unknown to me. I thus found this book very eye-opening and enriching, even though I would have liked to know even more about the women and their stories.

This is a beautiful book. I loved the art, the content and just how meaningful it is. I was an avid reader as a child and I would have loved to have had a book like this. I am grateful that it is now available for me to share with my children. So many amazing girls/women and such a huge variety of accomplishments. Love, love, love!
