I started this after having also just started Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI, and it was hard to stop considering the Whiteness of this family and of the legacy of Whiteness, colonization, and oppression in this area. Because of that, I don't think I enjoyed it as much as I might have. It's good, but it wasn't my cup of tea.

This one is pretty intense. There are a few surprises along the way, even if the plot is a seemingly basic family drama. There are some heartbreaking moments, and its a very readable play. It clips along at a decent pace and the writing makes it feel more of a novella than a play.

Enjoyed this play, but there's only one role for me: 37-year-old Little Charles... I might have liked it more if it were a meatier role or if the entire cast weren't in their fifties... Oh well, I'll probably enjoy seeing this on a local stage from the audience.

It has very interesting characters with a lot of good drama and comedy. I think I might like to audition for it in ~20 years...
