I finished reading this 4 years ago. And I was surprised I was even able to finish it. I like weird and deteriorated stories but this one utterly made no sense to me. Characters weren't able to scream empathy for me as a reader. There's just no point in it.

I will stop reading Karen Duve, as after "dies ist kein Liebeslied" everythingwas a dissapointment. I couldn't feel any sympathy for any of the character, or the point of the story.

Langweilig, die Charaktere sind schrecklich und die Sprache! Weniger Adjektive hätten nicht geschadet. Letzteres hat am Ende den Ausschlag gegeben, wenn der Stil so gar nicht passt kann ich nicht weiterlesen.
