I thought overall this book was a cute, sweet read. I went into it not knowing anything about it, and I am glad I did. It had a fun shocking element that I think otherwise wouldn't have been there. I did think that middle of the way the book got a bit sludgy, and the ending felt really rushed.
The other element I didn't like was the ending. How Barrett figured out that Olmstead was the connection point was quick but honestly didn't bother me much. What did though, was how quickly it went from that, to a big plot point of Miles not remembering, to him remembering again. It seemed weird to have that plot point of him not remember, to very quickly remember again.
Overall it was a fun read and a cute story. I also loved the Jewish details.
Spoiler
There were two main elements of the book that I didn't quite like. First, how once Barrett and Miles got together, it felt so rushed. You're telling me Miles had never even had an official girlfriend, and the first (I guess second) time they kissed they went all the way. That just felt fast. Along with that, afterwards they were all over each other and said they loved each other within days. That element just felt really fast. The other element I didn't like was the ending. How Barrett figured out that Olmstead was the connection point was quick but honestly didn't bother me much. What did though, was how quickly it went from that, to a big plot point of Miles not remembering, to him remembering again. Rachel Lynn Solomon the artist you are. She’s a new Auto-buy author for me, I cannot stress ENOUGH how good she is.

It took me about 25% to really get into this book but by the end I loved it. Barrett is a frustrating character at times but she really has great character growth. I loved the writing and descriptions as well.

“I could wake up on the same day a thousand times, and every day would be different because of you”
HELLO ARE WE CRYING OR IS IT JUST ALLERGIES 😭
to say I adored this book is a grave understatement. I literally caught ALL of the feels with every chapter in the last 50% of this one - and wow I needed a good sob goodbye
was it the most creative storyline ever? no. was it the cutest couple I’ve ever read in romances? no. but was it so absolutely perfect and entertaining that I read the entire book in 2 days? yes, yes, and yes.
in this groundhog day-esque story, we’re met with two students who seem doomed to face their first day of college over and over and over again. a story we’ve all heard before with a predictable happy ending, but I loved every second of it.
I swear, at this point, rachel lynn solomon can write a laundry list and I’d read it 😅
there’s humor, lovable side characters, physics lessons, and the adorable enemies to friends to lovers romance that you can only find in a RLS novel!
a HUGE thank you to netgalley and simon and schuster for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review! this one’s out today!
