Good plot progression. Definitely written for children but was consistently entertaining.

I LOVED this one!! I feel like the series is amping up to make some big reveals. This one felt a little different from the rest (in a great way). And that ending!!!!!??? Oh my goodness!

I feel let down by this book. It wasn't that interesting when you compare it to the rest of the series. It also felt like the only reason it was written was for the Baudelaires to find out the file and what was on page thirteen, and the moment that was over I lost quite a bit of interest. However I will admit, Lemony Snicket got me when he wrote what V.F.D stood for so early into the book, but the more the Volunteers Fighting Diseases appeared, the more I knew they couldn't be the real V.F.D.
I just can't believe one of their parents may be alive. I'm also shocked that Olaf didn't make a physical appearance until the end (but that was part of his disguise, right?) Another reason he didn't make an appearance was probably because he was setting the Library of Records on fire - like he did with the Baudelaire mansion and the Quagmires house?

Me están gustando cada vez más los libros a medida que se empiezan a develar los secretos. Igual como con todo buen misterio cada cosa que revela te trae otras 38 preguntas por atras!
