This is my absolute favorite book and the third time I’ve read it (first time via audio book). Listening to it is just as much fun, engaging, and touching as reading it.
And Carrie and Graham are by far one of my favorite book couples (I wish more people knew about them).

I really loved this book! I learned so much about a slice of history I knew nothing about when I started the book. I got to swoon over two beautiful romances as well which was a lot of fun.
Moderate: Sexual assault, Sexual violence, Religious bigotry, and War
