Really liked this book! I was equally interested in both storylines and really liked that they followed different timelines using the plane crash as an anchor. There were some good red herrings and nothing outrageous or unbelievable happened to ruin the story. Definitely one of the better thrillers that came out this year.

How about "no?" I tried reading this book twice and it just couldn't keep my interest. Then I luckily found an audiobook of it and this definitely helped me get through the book. Considering that I had seen this book at an airport three years ago and it kept haunting me because I hadn't bought it right away, it was SUCH a letdown after I finally bought and read it. I'm writing this review a couple of weeks after I've consumed this book and I only remember very few parts of it, which isn't really a good sign for me. I was really hoping this book would be of a similar quality as Lucy Clarke's books (where alphabetically it was next to and was therefore the only reason that I saw it in the first place), but unfortunately it wasn't.

Lots of far-fetched happenings in this lovely read. Plenty of twists to keep me engrossed.

This is a nice story of two women, victims in their own way for different reasons, different circumstances, different outcomes. They cross paths at a crucial time and the story is told in two timelines: present and past, brining the reader up to speed with the why and the where and the when.

It's a nicely written book, keeps one interested, but the subject is fairly light, there is hardly any element of a thriller or suspense in it.
