I’m caught up on all these series that I listen to, so I thought I’d try this one. It is holding my interest on my commute.

I thouroughly enjoyed this more than expected. I thought the writing was to the point but just detailed enough. For a minute I thought the ending was going to be cheasy but the cliffhanger saved it. I can't wait to read more of this series!

This has been an enjoyable series so far. I’m really liking that there are two mysteries going on at the same time. I listened to the audiobook and the two narrators did an exceptional job.

Great book. Loved Atlee Pine and the “old” mystery. The new mystery was a bit less interesting but having two plots kept the book moving along. Always something happening. The supporting characters also were really good including Pine’s assistant. Nice to see a strong woman in a supporting role and treated with respect by her boss.

Way better than the first one in the series, but that challenge wasn't really difficult. Keep this up, and it might turn into an interesting series.

POV: When you’re more invested in the tiny romantic subplot than the actual mystery itself 😂
If David Baldacci wrote a romance I would absolutely read it 🤭
