It’s a cute read! I watched the Netflix show and really enjoyed it so I wanted to give the book a read. I prefer the show because the dad in this is unintentionally harmful. And by not wanting to label the main character, the dad has instead left her with undiagnosed autism, no coping skills, and feeling like a different species of human. Labels don’t have to be defining - they can be validating if you let them.
