The very first Stephen King novel I ever read, and to this day it's probably still my favorite book of all time. Back in the early 90's, my younger brother and I borrowed a copy of The Long Walk from some other kid at school, and we were supposed to take turns reading it. Not sure if my brother ever got to finish it, because our mother found it one day hidden under his bed, read a few pages, and promptly confiscated it amidst a frenzy of shouting and protesting from the both of us. Fortunately I had read it first (and I've lost track of all the times I've re-read it since then) so joke's on you, mom!

So....
It was my first Stephen King book... And I don't know how to feel about all of the descriptions of teenagers getting aroused, like I get it, hormones around that age are crazy, but was it necessary to write multiple descriptions of them getting excited just by seeing and oversexualizing women, and not just that, but also almost forcing masturbation from two of the walkers?

The way that their minds started to spiral, how this challenge changed them as a person, and how some of them were just there to torture and play with each other's minds so they could lose.

Not a bloody, but rather a psychological horror that can mess up with your mind.

King lo hizo de nuevo, aunque el final fue abrupto, así fue todo el libro. Siempre teniéndome en vilo sin saber que pasaba y que pasaría. Lo ame
