I really like the complexity of this book - lots of shifts in perspective. And at some level… the women here are really striving to find lives that work best for them and no one else. Despite their hardship and circumstances.

I found this book a bit difficult to get through. Slow at times and sometimes difficult to follow the story. Great concept, though!

So this was not what I was expecting. It started slow and cluttered to me but I’m glad I stuck with it. It ended up coming together nicely. I love Agatha Christie so much, and though this wasn’t so much about her, it was an interesting invention of what happened during her actual disappearance, which I didn’t know about until I read this book.
