Wild Trail felt a bit never ending. While I enjoyed the romance between Mack and Wes, and the ranch setting was fun, it was just too drawn out. I was slowly losing interest and it put a damper on the aspects of the story I enjoyed.

It could be because I'm in quarantine during the Covid-19 pandemic, but this easy, happy read was exactly what I needed right now. There's suspense, there's some action, there's plenty of great sex, and the heroes are loveable. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I look forward to the next in the series.

I've got to note, however, that I really don't like the "daddy" kink.
